Many cancer cell lines have abnormalities in di, tri, and tetra-nucleotide microsatellite resulting from the mutations of DNA repair genes or others. A typical case would be hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC) where microsatellite instability (MSI) occur due to the mutation in DNA repair genes such as hMLH1 or hMSH2.

This service allows researchers to acquire cell line cDNA directly without having to go through the complex steps of cell culture, RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis. Researchers can now directly experiment, for example, RT-PCR for gene expression levels and other experiments, with synthesized cDNA.

Established cell lines are being used not only in bioengineering area, but also in many other industries. Researches involving these cell lines require cell culture in order to acquire DNA, RNA and protein. This service is for mass production of a cell line in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility. It is normally used to culture cell lines in absence of antibiotics or antimicrobials, to culture cells in sterilized environment, or to manufacture stocks for freezing or storing.
