Remove medium, add fresh 0.25 % trypsin, 0.03 % EDTA solution for two minutes. Remove the trypsin and let the flask sit at room temperature for 10 minutes (or until the cells detach). Add fresh medium, aspirate and dispense into new flasks.

The line was derived from metastasis in a common duct node from a patient prior to therapy.
The cells are negative for Dopa decarboxylase and TAG-72 antigen but are positive for CEA and CA19-9 antigen.
