Remove the supernatant and rinse with sterile PBS. Add 2mL of trypsin-EDTA (usually 0.05%) in PBS and incubate at 37oC for approximately 3 minutes (T25cm^2). Add 5ml of growth medium supplemented with 10% FBS and centrifuge. Decant the supernatant and redisperse the cancer cells by pipetting them with the growth medium.

This cell line was derived from a 3rd passage nude mouse xenograft of tumor fragments obtained from a patient prior to therapy. This cell line is a pseudodiploid human cell line an and has a high concentration of receptors for EGF. This cell line has lost chromosomes 11 while SNU-C2B has lost only both chromosomes 8 and 11.
Penicillin-streptomycin were added to culture media (final concentration, 100 U/mL)
